So much for that
and I was doing so well. I am here, I am knitting! I will post more tomorrow as I'm sick and going to lie down on the couch with a movie and/or a book, but I will be back.

tomorrow. I have finished the first socks I've knit for Carlos and he's super excited, but I want him to model.
Well, once I missed one day I didn't waste any time before I missed another.
Today is my 28th birthday. I am doing nothing all day, but plan to put together a better post either later to day or tomorrow.
Carlos took me out for an awesome dinner and got me a great present and I'm having a great birthday.
Missed yesterday. That didn't take long!
I have never been prouder to be an American than I was last night when the election was called and when I heard the President Elect's speech in Grant Park.
I've been on Cloud 9 all day and I won't think about the California proposition, or what can happen in a lame duck presidency until tomorrow.
Congratulations America -- you did what I always knew you could, but wasn't sure you would. My faith is restored.
I don't think there is anything else I can say today other than go vote.
I don't talk much about my politics here, but I am off work today, I voted this morning, and am off in the next 90 minutes to go make calls for Barack Obama -- the first candidate I have been proud to vote for since I have been eligible to vote.
As someone who voted in her first presidential election in 2000 and who saw voter apathy lead to (in my opinion) one of the worst presidents in American history, I was proud to wait in line for an hour this morning to vote, and I will be proud that this election should have the greatest turnout in American history.
While personally I am sincerely frightened of what a McCain-Palin administration would do, and I urge each and every one of you who read these words to go out and vote for whoever you think would do the best job as President (on both parts of the ticket) today.
Hopefully I will be in a good mood tomorrow.
Maybe this will get me going again? Think I can do it?
