Me and Chickami
So, although I've gotten very little knitting done lately (work has been CRAZY!), I've decided to post some progress on my chickcami.
Here is where I am so far:
I know it looks like a big stockinette rectangle, but . . . .OK, it is a big stockinette rectangle, but damn it, it is my big stockinette rectangle. I'm almost to the point of the raglan shaping. This was my first shaped garment, and I think I did ok considering. Here's a close up of the shaping -- what do you think?
And in case you were wondering who I am, here is a truly awful picture of me in the bathroom mirror:
That's all for now. I had a phone interview today so I'm late getting home and have to walk Oscar and make dinner before heading out for drinks with an old friend. Hope someone comments soon!

You are right, that is a truly awful picture of you. Where was I? We'll have to remedy that, and take a really good picture of my BEE-U-TI-FUL bebbe!

Great job on the shaping. Love the yarn also. What is it??? OK, I am probably dense but what is "chickami" and what does it look like?
