Eat.Knit.Sleep

Yesterday was my 25th birthday.  I meant to post something quick with a baby picture or something, but I don't have any. Mom -- if you are reading this, send me one before 26!

So a bunch of stuff has happened since my last post. The first being this

which lead, incidently, directly to this:

Which lead, also incidently, to me being pretty gimpy on my birthday.

I'll spare you the details of how it happened, just know it involved wine, both as a cause, a weapon, and an anesthetic, and let your imagination go.

In other news, I started, and finished a Branching Out. I was using leftovers from this.

Knitlisters know that I was having trouble with my original branching out with Elsebeth Lavold's Silky Wool -- I will try it again, now that I have a better handle on the pattern. I will also post finished pictures when it is blocked.

We didn't do anything special last night because Oscar had to go to the vet, but I had a nice day off yesterday, and one today and tomorrow, gimp foot and all.
