Eat.Knit.Sleep

I quit my job today. It feels wierd. I only worked there six months, and I've never worked anyplace so short except for when I worked for Border's in college and they wouldn't let me take spring break off, when I had already purchased plane tickets to visit my mom in New Mexico. . . I digress.

I honestly didn't know how my boss was going to react. She didn't seem suprised at all, which was suprising to me. Anyway, they asked me to wrap somethings up today, and then come back into the office briefly on Monday, and that's it. I don't have to work my last two weeks. Which means that I have off until I start my new job (yes, I said new job) on January 3rd.

My new job seems a lot better for me than my job now, but time will tell. I'm optimistic, but I'm past the point of thinking that any job I have will really make me happy until I figure out what I actually want to do in life. Its more casual, and there are more people there, so I'm hoping I'll be able to make more friends in Allentown. It's also more money, which doesn't hurt.

I also went to Stich N' Bitch Allentown last night which is just getting together. If Jessica, Cyndi, Torie, and Tara (I hope I'm spelling any of those names right) are reading this. It was a lot of fun. And if you are in the Lehigh Valley, you should check it out.
