A Dry Crack is a Happy Crack

I swear to god I saw a sign that said that while driving to work today.

How to annoy Jenny in the morning:

1. Tickle me while I'm doing the dishes

2. Trip me with your leash while I'm picking up your poop so I accidently touch your poop with my hand. Ew.

3. Tell me as I'm out the door  running late that your ride never showed up for school (even though I suggested that you call and confirm before you skip your bus) and you need a ride

4. Make me drive in a parking lot full of teenagers who just got their licenses yesterday

5. Come to a complete stop at a merge so while avoiding rear-ending you force me to spill coffee on my pants.

6. Force me to get to work late so that I have to leave late and thus miss my spinning class tonight even though I bought new cycling shoes.

Edit: 7. Throw away my tin foil that I use as a toast plate while I'm in the bathroom.

I'm at work, and I am sans camera which is still acting up. I cleared the memory card and it still says memory card full, and only works with the memory card out of the camera which means I can only take one picture at a time.

I finished both sleeves of Rosedale and cast on for the body. I also cast on for the second red sock.  I'll try to take pictures tonight with C's camera.

Other than that I feel a little overwhelmed with everything I have to do. My online classes, my house is a mess, the gym to lose weight, my taxes . . . which I don't think I can do by myself this year, and the Kid and planning for the Move.

The Move is capitalized for a reason . . .it should be no suprise to anyone that knows me that C and I are not happy in Pa, and feel trapped here because of his contract at work and our committment to the Kid. We are, probably not smartly since I just started a new job, starting to look towards a move when those commitments are over and have been focused on Portland. Any of you from there, been there? We hope to go visit over the summer for a week to get a feel, but we are not in the best financial shape right now.

Got to get to work know.

Ugh. It sounds like One of Those Days.

Some days you won't be able to do all (or any) of the things you want to do and the only consolation is that at least you'll get another shot at it tomorrow. So, give yourself a little break and don't beat yourself up too badly if you don't get to do all the things you want (or feel you have) to do. It'll all get taken care of eventually.

Oh - and which Portland are you talking about? Maine or Oregon? Portland, Oregon is a beautiful city and I'd move there in a heartbeat. I will be spending a weekend in Portland, Maine in a couple of weeks and can report back to you then!
