Not much knitting
is going on.
First of all, I want to thank everyone for their concerns while I was sick last week. I'm feeling MUCH better now.
This weekend was hectic. We ran all over the place getting errands done and weren't able to have too much fun. Carlos and I did make it over to the Bethlehem Brew Works on Saturday, and have some dinner, some beer, and play some pool.
Sunday was lost 100% to errands but I did get a nice new pair of glasses. Yay, my first Prada! Nah, I don't really care about labels but they are nice glasses, and a nice alternative to contacts every day.
I also started my triathlon training on Monday. I'm doing a program called "Couch to Sprint" which is good, because although the first workouts are below my fitness level, it gets me used to training in 3 sports and working out 6 days a week. Monday I walked for 20 minutes and then swam 100 yards. Yesterday, I was supposed to do a 2 mile bike ride, but as the gym was too crowded (I couldn't find a SINGLE parking spot at 4:45) and it was cool outside, I did the ride inside on my trainer for 20 minutes since there was no way to measure mileage. I had some zen meditation time too as my ipod battery was completely dead and I was too lazy to go upstairs and borrow C's.
On the weight loss front, well Eh.
Starting Weight: 136
Last Weigh in: 131.8
Last night: 132
I guess it is probably a wash as the gym scale is not as accurate as the digital one at the doctor, so I'm happy I didn't gain . . .but com' on! A stomach virus and it wasn't good for 1 or 2 pounds! Must have been all the scones I ate when I was feeling better.
Tonight is my day off . .. we are heading into Philadelphia after work to see the Wood Brothers and catch some dinner in the Old City. We NEVER do stuff like this during the week, so we are very excited.
Oscar very much enjoyed all the positive attention from my photo blogs, and he says he'd be happy to cuddle up with your knitting while you or at work, or even better sit on your lap and lick your face and your needles while you are trying to knit. He's all about that.

Sounds like you've got a very fun evening planned - I hope you have a great time!
Oscar is so cute I can hardly stand it, btw. :)
I'm thinking that the weight loss from having the Ick is just delayed...that's it, delayed!
