New Socks
So, the yarn I showed you the other day? It's already on its way to being a sock.
I'm a little further a long than that now, and I"m really enjoying the knitting, even if the sock might be a little too big. It is the first installment from long ago of the Sundara Yarn Petal Collection. Beautiful yarn.
I keep joining these clubs and stashing the yarn. I don't know why. I'm weird like that.
I've also been a member of Boogie's Spunky Fiber club, and never spun it. Until now.
Here are my singles of the July selection, Shetland wool in Celebration. I made an effort to spin thicker and they are pretty crazy looking.
I'm home sick today. I was up all night with a terrible headache of which the remnants still remain. I'm totally not focused enough to be at work today, especially because my job involves talking to clients and being consultative. No consultations for me today.
So my friend who's niece I knit the Daisy sweater? Now she is expecting, and the baby is due in February. I'm thinking of doing something special like a blanket, but I'm not sure. Maybe the ubiquitous Baby Surprise. Decisions.
